Always seeking new and better methods, Eamonn has extensive experience in the sustainable building world acquired over the last decade of work addressing building needs for energy efficiency — he is certified in design and installation of photovoltaics and was a top designer/salesman for the most efficient windows in the world.
Over the last few years Eamonn has embraced the developing use of hemp for both health and construction. He has training in construction methods using hempcrete, hemp wool and other hemp products for projects big and small. Eamonn recently said “Hemp is a product that can bring about far safer, healthier and long-lasting structures and at the same time avoids use of products toxic to both the environment and to our neighbors. The product is remarkable in so many ways.”
At home, Eamonn and his family live and embrace nature. With his 2 beautiful girls, Neala and Fiona, and bride, the lovely Sarah, he enjoys skiing, biking, camping, music, dancing and being at home in the garden with their 2 dogs and 12 chickens.
